Friday, Sept. 3,

         6 p.m.  Men start growing your beards for the Longest Beard Contest and a Fashion Show of the Period Dress (old Tallapoosa HS)   

Saturday, Sept. 4 

         8 a.m. -7 p.m. Arts and crafts festival with live music (West Lyon Street)  

                              Cowboy Living History (Taliaferro Street side of old Tallapoosa HS)

                              Sons of Confederate Veterans Living History  (Behind old Tallapoosa HS)

      10 a.m. -3 p.m. Children's games  (Behind First Baptist Church Playground)   

      10 a.m. The Great Gathering  (Class reunion for Tallapoosa High and other area schools at old school house) 

      12 p.m. Sesquicentennial Parade  (begins at Ball Park) 

        1-5 p.m. Tour of Homes   (tickets $10 at museum)

        8  - 11 p.m. Period Costume Ball  (street dance on Head Ave)

Sunday, Sept. 5 

      11 a.m. worship service  (Tallapoosa First Baptist Church) 

        1 p.m. dinner on the grounds followed by community singing  (Tallapoosa United Methodist Church Parking Lot)
